commercial antibacterial "soap"

Someone asked me the other day what I thought about commercial antibacterial (triclosan) hand "soaps" encouraging tougher bacteria. As far as I'm aware, there's no conclusive evidence that antibacterial hand "soap" (with triclosan) makes us more susceptible to bacteria, or that it necessarily contributes to more indestructible bacteria. There are interesting findings for and against these concerns.

However, in my opinion, there's nothing like plain old hand washing with a plain old real bar of soap! Now, goat milk soap from The Cosmic Goat is far from plain! It's cosmic! =) And it's real soap. Most commercially produced "soaps" (often called bath bars, scrubs, cleansers, etc.) are actually detergent based. They've had all sorts of sudsing agents, preservatives, petroleum products, dyes, and chemicals like triclosan added to make them better and better! But there's really nothing better than plain old soap and water. And goat milk soap from The Cosmic Goat is not just for hands! You can bathe with it, use it on your face, shave with it, and wash your hair with it!
